Conservation in Action 6 - Rhody Bashing - Tytherington Wood
Rhododendron ponticum is an invasive non-native species that is extremely harmful to healthy woodland habitat. We are in the process of removing this plant from Tytherington wood by physically uprooting it. The work is heavy, the breaks enjoyable. Help ranger Jim and volunteers from the Mersey Rivers Trust to remove this invasive plant from Tytherington wood
Cost: Free event.

Christmas Wreath workshop - Oak Farm, Styal
Get festive and learn how to create a Christmas wreath with demonstrations from the Countryside Rangers. Greenery and ribbons will be supplied but if you would like to bring any extras to put on, please do so.
